September Looks Good on Me ♡

There’s something about September that always feels like a little reset.

Summer is technically winding down, but here in California, we both know that doesn’t mean much. The evenings are still warm, the dresses are still short, and apparently I’ve decided staying in Los Angeles all month would simply be too responsible of me.

So I'm wandering a little.

First stop: Santa Barbara.

I’ll be there September 4–6 for a spontaneous Labor Day escape. I’m thinking ocean air, somewhere good to eat, a cocktail (or two), and absolutely no reason to rush the evening.

Those are usually my favorite kinds of dates anyway. We start with dinner, somehow end up ordering another drink, and eventually somebody asks, “Should we go somewhere else?”

Next thing you know, neither of us is checking the time.

Much more my speed. ♡

Then, San Francisco...

Later this month, I’ll be trading Southern California for San Francisco, September 19–21.

This one is part vacation, part play, so I’m keeping my calendar pretty light. I’ll be accepting a limited number of dates with a two-hour minimum while I’m there.

Honestly, I prefer having a little time with you anyway.

Enough time to settle in, flirt, grab a drink, actually talk to each other—and see where the chemistry takes us without watching the clock every five minutes.

A Little More Alexia

Speaking of having more time together...

As much as I enjoy meeting someone new, I really like the familiarity that comes after.

Knowing how you take your drink. Having an inside joke that makes absolutely no sense to anyone else. Our favorite restaurant. Our usual cocktail. Knowing what kind of mood you’re in before you even have to tell me.

So yes, I’m open to arrangements with the right person.

Maybe that means seeing each other a few times a month. Maybe we occasionally disappear for a weekend. Maybe you want a familiar face beside you for dinners, events, travel—or just because you like knowing when you'll see me again.

I'm not interested in forcing it into a particular formula.

If we like each other, enjoy our time together and both want more of it, we can figure out what works for us. ♡

I've been making quite a few changes lately, and they've made me curious about the people actually reading all of this.

Some of you have known me for a while. Some of you just found me.

And some of you have apparently decided to quietly lurk.
